Phi Mu at Illinois is a women's organization that strives to live by our values of love, honor, and truth to make a difference in our sisterhood, and on campus. We are a diverse group of women coming from various backgrounds and interests, but we share the love of our sisterhood and making a difference in other's lives.

PHILANTHROPY
PHI MU SUPPORTS CHILDREN'S MIRACLE NETWORK HOSPITALS
Children's Miracle Network Hospitals is the national philanthropy of Phi Mu Fraternity; the money raised by us at the Delta Beta Chapter specifically goes towards our local CMN Hospital in Springfield, Illinois, St. John's Children's Hospital. Our women work hard to spread awareness for CMN Hospitals so we can make a difference in all of these children's lives.
In addition, Phi Mu is involved in Illinithon, a 12-hour dance marathon every spring at the University of Illinois–proceeds from which also go towards St. John's Children's Hospital. Our team of Phi Mu women are so excited to contribute to this incredible organization.
BIANNUAL PHILANTHROPY EVENTS
Once a semester, our chapter hosts a philanthropy fundraiser for CMNH. Such events have included Cheesin' for Children, Cards for Kids, and Pie a Phi. In addition, we often hold percentage nights around campus to further give to St. John's in every way we can.
ILLINITHON
The University of Illinois hosts an annual 12-hour dance marathon called Illinithon. This event is made to raise money for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals with involvement from various organizations from all over campus. Contributing to a cause so close to our own hearts, we always have a team of Phi Mu women. It's amazing to see the direct impact the event has on the kids from our local CMN hospital in Springfield, Illinois.
SISTERHOOD
EVENTS & ACTIVITIES
Being surrounded by such intelligent, caring, and bright sisters is an incredible feeling; you can always count on someone to make you laugh or brighten your day. To strengthen our bonds with each other, we hold numerous sisterhood events throughout the semester, including trips to the Curtis Apple Orchards, Skateland Savoy, and Jarlings, and events at our chapter house such as spa nights, game nights, and movie nights.
BIANNUAL RETREAT
Each semester, Phi Mu also holds two special retreats: a new member retreat, and a sisterhood retreat. These events are filled with team building exercises meant to further strengthen our bond with each other and get to know our sisters more deeply.
SOCIAL
SEMI-FORMAL
Phi Mu's Semi-Formal event happens once a semester at a venue in the Urbana-Champaign area. For this event, Phi Mu women have the opportunity to bring a a date or a friend and dress up for the night.
BARN DANCE
Barn Dance is another semesterly event held by Phi Mu at a Farm Lake in Urbana. There's no better way to spend time in Illinois than at a barn with your sisters, listening to country music by a campfire with hayrides and more!
